Eleanor Cecilia Hill (nee Clark) of Holland died peacefully on Monday February 2, 2015 at St. Mary Medical Center, after a brief illness. She was 93.

She was the beloved wife of the late Robin G. Hill who passed away 25 years ago this year.

Eleanor, known to friends and family as “Ceily” was born December 10, 1921 in the Fairmount section of Philadelphia, Pennsylvania, the daughter of the late James Clark and Marie Gormley. She resided in Churchville, Pennsylvania before relocating to Holland.

Throughout her life, Eleanor was a homemaker who enjoyed pottery, watercolors, and cooking as well as entertaining friends and family and visiting with her grandchildren. In 1946, Eleanor married Robin G. Hill, with whom she shared 44 years of marriage.

Eleanor is survived by her son, Richard L. Hill and his wife, Mary Beth, of Spotswood, NJ; her grandson, Ryan D. Hill and his wife, Wendy; her granddaughters Joanne and her fiancé Charles Hartobey and Robyn and her fiancé Billy Wisnewski; and her great-grandchildren, Caroline and Aaron.

Relatives and friends may greet the family on Thursday February 5, 2015 from 9:00 AM until her Funeral Mass 10:30 AM at St. Bede the Venerable Church, 1071 Holland Rd., Holland, PA 18966. Her interment will follow in Holy Cross Cemetery, Yeadon.
