Mary Theresa McGinnis, of Newtown, PA died peacefully surrounded by her loving family on November 21st at Chandler Hall. She was 84.  

She was the beloved wife of the late Charles W. McGinnis and the mother of the late Christopher McGinnis.

          Born in Philadelphia, PA Mary Theresa was the daughter of the late Thomas and Margaret O’Neill McNally.

          Mary Theresa worked for many years with Jennings Sigmond Law Firm in Philadelphia. She was an avid reader of fine literature and and loving and caring mother, grandmother, and friend. Mary Theresa will be sorely missed by everyone who has had the opportunity to know and love her.

          Mary Theresa is survived by her loving and devoted children; Charles McGinnis of Philadelphia, Mary Cardona and her husband Joseph of Lower Gwynedd, Jacquelyn Alvira and her husband George of Holland, and Kathleen McGinnis of Newtown. She is also survived by 7 grandchildren and 3 great grandchildren

          Relatives and friends are invited to attend her viewing on Friday, November 28^th from 10:00 AM until her Funeral Mass 11:00 AM at the Church of St. Andrew, 81 Swamp Rd. Newtown, PA 18940. Interment will be private at Holy Cross Cemetery in Yeadon.
