      Mary "Molly" A. Horniak, of Doylestown, PA died peacefully on Thursday, November 20, 2014, at her home with her family by her side. She was 76.

      She was the beloved wife of Stephen Horniak for 53 years.

      She was born on September 13th, 1938 to the late John and Eleanore (Cassidy) Hendrick.

      Molly grew up in Germantown and environs and graduated from Mount St. Joseph Academy. She met her future husband at Stagecrafters Theater in Chestnut Hill. After they married in 1961, they started their family and their small business. Both the family and business grew and Deltronic Labs continues today in Chalfont and remains a family business. Molly was a vital part of the business for many years lending her significant talents to marketing and sales. Her interest and prowess at the NY Times crossword is legendary. Birding became a passion for her when she began regular vacations on Long Beach Island and Florida.

      In addition to her husband, she is survived by her three children Jessica Sklar of Wyndmoor, Stephen (Cathy) Horniak of North Wales, and Colin (Megan) Horniak of Warrington, her two sisters Jane Seidel of Vancouver, WA, and Pete Merriam of Nipomo, CA. She is also survived by her 5 grandchildren: Alex, Cassidy, Emily, Aydan and Chase.

      Her family will receive relatives and friends on Monday, November 24, 2014 from 6:00 – 8:00 pm and on Tuesday, November 25, 2014 from 10:00 am until her Funeral Service, 11:00am at the Joseph A. Fluehr III Funeral Home, 241 East Butler Ave. (at Sandy Ridge Rd.) New Britain, PA 18901. Her interment will follow in Whitemarsh Memorial Park, Prospectville, PA.

      In lieu of flowers, contributions in her memory may be made to Florida Wildlife Hospital and Sanctuary, 4560 North US 1, Melbourne, FL 32935, www.floridawildlifehospital.org or The Pennsylvania Audubon Society, www.pa.audubon.org
