     Rose T. Gallagher of Doylestown died Tuesday, November 18, 2014 at Chandler Hall Hospice in Newtown surrounded by her loving family.

     Rose was the beloved wife of the late James F. Gallagher.

     Born in Philadelphia, she was the daughter of the late Francis and Mary A. Breslin Turner, sister of the late Valentine Turner and mother of the late Maureen Hughes.

     Rose was a former resident of Holland before moving to Doylestown. She was proud to have received her Associates Degree from Bucks County Community College in 1986 while simultaneously working as the Secretary for the Dean of Bucks County Community College. Rose was a communicant of Our Lady of Mount Carmel Church in Doylestown and was a former communicant of St. Bede the Venerable Church in Holland. In her leisure, she enjoyed vacationing with her family at the shore and enjoying lunches with her many close friends.

     Rose is survived by her children Laurie A. Luff and her husband, Larry, of Newtown, James F. Gallagher and his wife, Miho, of Princeton Junction, NJ, and Rosemary Boyle and her husband, David, of Horsham. She was the mother-in-law of Edward Hughes of Pittsburgh and the sister of Mary Smith of Philadelphia. Rose is also survived by her eight cherished grandchildren, Jackie, Meghan, Rebecca, Ryan, Matthew, Brianna, Katie and Emily.

     Relatives and friends are invited to attend her viewings, Friday, November 21st from 7:00-9:00pm in the Joseph A. Fluehr III Funeral Home, 800 Newtown-Richboro Road (at Holland Rd.) Richboro, PA 18954 and on Saturday, November 22nd from 10:00am until her Funeral Mass 11:00am in Our Lady of Mount Carmel Church, 235 East State St., PA 18901. Interment will follow in Newtown Cemetery in Newtown.

In lieu of flowers, contributions in her memory may be made to Pancreatic Cancer Action Network, (www.pancan.org).
