Vincent Proschinger of Churchville died Saturday, January 8, 2011, at his residence. He was 75.
Of German heritage, born in Czechoslavkia, he was the son of the late Vincent and Rosa Achzet Proschinger.
Mr. Proschinger was a resident of Churchville for the past 33 years. Before his retirement, he was a mechanic in Philadelphia for many years. He was a proud Army veteran having served during the Korean War. He was a longtime member of the Tiroler Beneficial Society in Philadelphia. In his leisure time, he enjoyed hunting, fishing and wildlife. He also liked friendly card games and camaraderie with his buddies.
He will be sadly missed as a loving father, grandfather and friend to all who knew him.
He is survived by his son, Walter V. Proschinger of Livingston, MT, his daughter, Christa M. Scheidly of Havertown, PA, and his grandson, Jakob V. Scheidly.
Relatives and friends are invited to attend his viewing on Wednesday, January 12, from 9:30 AM until his Funeral Service 11:00 AM at the Joseph A. Fluehr III Funeral Home, 800 Newtown-Richboro Road (at Holland Road), Richboro, PA 18954. Interment will be private.
In lieu of flowers, contributions in his memory may be made to Autism Speaks, 1060 State Road, 2nd. Floor, Princeton, NJ 08540.
