William C. Smiley of Lake Harmony, PA died on Wednesday, January 26, 2011 at his residence. He was 63.
He was the beloved husband of Audrey Cox Smiley for 32 years.
Born in Wilmington, DE he was one of the ten children of the late William and Joanna Woods Smiley.
Mr. Smiley was formerly of Philadelphia and has been a resident of Lake Harmony for the past 15 years where he enjoyed being surrounded by his family, watching NASCAR, spending time in nature, watching hawks, eagles and various wildlife in the area especially his favorite black bear “Buba”. His sense of humor will long be remembered by those who loved him.
In addition to his beloved wife Audrey, Bill is survived by his loving children Jason Smiley of Warminster, Melanie DeLong of Lake Harmony, Kelly Sztenderowicz of Feasterville, and Bev Timms of Angier, NC. He is also survived by 11 grandchildren and 1 great grandson.
Relatives and friends are invited to call on Saturday, February 5, 2011, from 1:00PM until his Memorial Service 2:00PM from the Joseph A. Fluehr III Funeral Home, 800 Newtown-Richboro Road (at Holland Road) Richboro, PA 18954. Interment will be private.
In lieu of flowers, contributions in his memory may be made to the Victory Junction, 4500 Adam’s Way, Randleman, NC 27316, a camp which provides life-changing experiences for kids with chronic medical conditions or serious illnesses.
