Francis R. Romano, age 75, formerly of Hilton Head Island, SC passed away peacefully Saturday, August 16, 2014 with his family by his side.

Beloved husband of Eve T. (nee Kenny) for 48 years, and cherished father of Richard K. (Lauren) Romano and Dawn M. (Christopher) Mills. He is also survived by a brother, Dr. Joseph Romano, and sister, Margaret O’Bryan Kline.

A teacher for over 35 years for the North Penn School District, Fran demonstrated a life-long passion for nurturing others to achieve their full potential. He will be remembered for his insightfulness, wit and devotion to enriching the lives of his family, friends, and students.

Loved ones are invited to greet the family on Saturday, August 23 from 9:30-10-:30 AM in Our Lady of the Sacred Heart Church, 100 Broad St., Hilltown, PA 18927 where his memorial mass will follow at 10:45 AM. Interment will be in the Parish Cemetery.
