Henry Haacke
Henry W. Haacke, Jr., of Holland, PA, died on Friday, November 4, 2011, at Twining Village Health Care. He was 91.
He was the beloved husband of 36 years to Teresa Jesser Haacke, and the late Dorothy Haacke who died in 1972.
Born in New York, he was the son of the late Henry W. Haacke Sr. and Anna Breden Haacke and brother of the late Jane Meyer.
Henry served in the United States Army, Artillery Division, during the Second World War.
In addition to his loving wife, Henry survived by his children, Robert Haacke and his wife Ruth Lee "Mike" of Spring Hill, FL, Carol Levash of Churchville, and Linda Barratt and her husband Thomas of New Hope. He is also survived by his 7 grandchildren, John Haacke, Donna Haacke Mallon, Janet Haacke Ruggiero, Thomas Barratt IV, Michael D. Barratt, Kelly Loden Ingertson, Michael Whelan, and 11 great-grandchildren.
Services and Interment will be held privately at Newtown Cemetery, Washington and Elm Avenue, Newtown, PA 18940.
In lieu of flowers, the family requests contributions be made to Holy Redeemer Hospice, 12265 Townsend Rd., Suite 400, Philadelphia, PA 19154.
