Margaret C. Alessandro of Holland died Tuesday, January 31, 2012 at St. Joseph’s Manor in Meadowbrook. She was 78.

Margaret was the beloved wife of 59 years to Rudolph P. Alessandro.

Born in Philadelphia, she was the daughter of the late Edward T. and Theresa DeFao Ambrose and the sister of the late Elaine Horan.

Margaret was a former resident of Holland for 24 years before moving to St. Joseph’s Manor. She was the former owner of Alessandro Beer Distributors in the Germantown section of Philadelphia for 28 years. Margaret was a communicant of St. Bede the Venerable Church in Holland and will be remembered for the quality times spent with her family, especially with her cherished grandchildren and great grandchildren.

In addition to her beloved husband Rudolph, Margaret is survived by her son, Rudolph M. Alessandro and his wife, Barbara, of Richboro and her two grandchildren, Stacey Flood and her husband, Chris, and Lindsey Bannon and her husband, J.T., and her three great grandchildren, Madison, Ryan and Christian Flood.

Relatives and friends are invited to attend her viewing on Friday, February 3, 2012, from 8:30am to 10:00am from the Joseph A. Fluehr III Funeral Home, 800 Newtown-Richboro Rd. (at Holland Rd.) Richboro and to her Funeral Mass 10:30am at St. Bede the Venerable Church, 1071 Holland Rd. Holland. Interment will follow at Holy Sepulchre Cemetery, Cheltenham, PA.
