Patricia C. Wagner of Palm Coast, Florida died peacefully on August 31, 2014 at her residence with her husband by her side. She was 74.

Pat was the beloved wife of 55 years to William V. Wagner.

Born in Philadelphia, she was the daughter of the late Frederick and Mary Gallagher Anton.

Pat was a long time resident of Philadelphia before moving to Palm Coast in 2003. She was a resident of the Port Richmond section of Philadelphia where she came to know her adoring husband Bill. They eventually married and settled in the Parkwood Manor section of Philadelphia. Over the years, Pat along with her husband Bill, succeeded in many life accomplishments. She supported and encouraged her husband Bill in achieving his education while he worked and attended night school at LaSalle University. They traveled the country and the world together. Pat eventually went to work herself at Holy Family University in Philadelphia and retired after many faithful years of service as the Technical Services Coordinator for the Librarian. She was a true friend and mentor to many people and encouraged all to pursue life to its fullest.

Pat was a consummate role model for the Catholic faith. She was a former Communicant of St. Anselm Church in Philadelphia and a very active member of St. Elizabeth Ann Seton Church in Palm Coast. She was a Eucharistic Minister at her church and always maintained her devotion to the Blessed Mother. Pat enjoyed playing bingo at the Italian American Club and also at the VFW Post in Palm Coast. She was an advocate for the Wounded Warriors that have served our country in both current and past conflicts. Pat’s true gift in life was the quality to see the best in everyone. She raised and expected her sons to be gentlemen, men of character and to be respectful to all. Pat will be truly missed by everyone who has had the pleasure and experience of knowing and loving her.

In addition to her husband Bill, Pat is survived by her two sons; William V. Wagner, Jr. of Newtown and Dr. Robert C. Wagner and his wife Erika of Deland, FL. She was the special Nanny to her cherished grandson Kristofer and was the sister of Joan L. Blair, Frederick M. Anton, Jr., James E. Anton, Joseph M. Anton and Mary F. Anton and the aunt and cousin of many.

Relatives and friends are invited to call from 9:30am until her Funeral Mass 10:30am on Saturday September 20th in the St. Bede the Venerable Church, 1071 Holland Road, Holland, PA 18966.

Interment will follow in Resurrection Cemetery in Bensalem.

In lieu of flowers, please consider a contribution in Pat’s memory to Wounded Warrior Project , P.O. Box 758517, Topeka, KS 66675. .
