Zenophon G. Tomaras, 82 died peacefully in his sleep on February 29, 2012 after a short illness.
Zenophon was the beloved husband of Isabella Vos and the late Marie S. Kurilla Tomaras.
He is a graduate of Georgetown University and St. Joseph's colleges. Zenophon grew up in Shenandoah and relocated to Pennsylvania with his first wife Marie Kurilla to raise his family. An avid animal lover he raised Homing Pigeons and Chickens. He worked with Bucks County to get a model flying field and was successful in starting up a local chapter. The field is in use today by people young and old.
Zenophon is survived by his daughter Barbara A. Tomaras of Doylestown, his son Thomas G. Tomaras and his wife Debra of Abiline, TX and his grandsons Gregory and Alex.
Relatives and friends are invited to attend his viewing Monday, March 5 from 5:00pm until his Funeral Service 7:00pm at the Joseph A. Fluehr III Funeral Home, 241 East Butler Avenue (Route 202 and Sandy Ridge Rd.), New Britain, PA 18901.
