Arnesta M. Tomasetti (nee Isopo), of Southampton, PA, died on April 5, 2011. She was formerly of Philadelphia.

Arnesta was the beloved wife of the late James V. Tomasetti and dearest mother of James J. Tomasetti (Loretta) and Michael R. Tomasetti (Anne Marie). She is also survived by her sisters Angie Sforza and Ronnie Bissett and her 5 grandchildren.

Relatives and friends are invited to attend her viewing on Saturday from 9:00AM until her Funeral Mass 10:00AM at Church of the Resurrection of Our Lord, 2000 Shelmire Ave. Phila. PA 19152.

Entombment will follow at Sunset Memorial Park, Feasterville, PA.

Warren G. Simon Sr.

April 3rd, 2011

Warren G. Simon Sr. of Levittown, PA died unexpectedly on Sunday, April 3, 2011, at his home. He was 73.

He was the beloved husband of the late Patricia A. Burg Simon.

Born in Oakford, he was the son of the late Harry and Dorothy Cowdrick Simon and grandfather of the late Paige Madison Hartline.

Mr. Simon was a resident of Levittown for the past 13 years and was a lifelong resident of Bucks County. Before his retirement in 1998 he was employed as a truck driver for more than 30 years for James M. Naye, Inc. located in Philadelphia. He was a proud Navy veteran having served during the Korean War. Warren was an avid Phillies and Eagles fan. In his leisure time, he enjoyed watching TV and going to yard sales. He especially enjoyed the time spent with his children and grandchildren. Warren will be sadly missed as a loving father and grandfather.

He is survived by his three children, Warren G. Simon, Jr. of Levittown, Patricia A. Hartline and her husband, Michael, of Warminster, and Yvonne H. Cheesman of Trenton, NJ. He is also survived by his three loving grandchildren, Stephanie McMaster, Samantha McMaster, and Michael Hartline. He is also survived by one brother and five sisters.

Relatives and friends are invited to call on Monday, April 11, 2011, from 10:00 AM until his Funeral Service 11:00 AM at Addisville Reformed Church, 945 Second Street Pike, Richboro, PA 18954. Interment will take place at Union Cemetery, Richboro.

William D. Griffith

April 2nd, 2011

William D. Griffith of Langhorne died peacefully surrounded by his loved ones on Saturday, April 2, 2011 at Chandler Hall Hospice in Newtown. He was 53.

Born in Philadelphia, PA, he was the son of the late Winford S. Griffith and Agnes C. Geib Payne.

Bill was proud to have served in the Navy. He was a longtime employee of Wal-Mart in Warminster. He enjoyed working with computers, bowling with friends, and the solace of reading. Every year Bill always looked forward to the return of Spring and the return of his most cherished hobby of gardening. He will be sorely missed by everyone who had the pleasure to meet and know him.

Bill is survived by his brother Steven A. Griffith, his sister Debra A. Metzger, and his Aunt and Uncle, Suzanne and David Britsch with whom he resided. Bill is also survived by his niece Amanda, his 2 nephews Raymond and Michael, and many cousins.

Relatives and friends are invited to attend his viewing Wednesday, April 6, 2011 from 9:30AM until his Funeral Service 11:00AM at Scottsville United Methodist Church, 2400 Brownsville Road, Langhorne, PA 19047. Interment will follow at Forest Hills Cemetery, Huntingdon Valley, PA.

Richard Dickson

April 1st, 2011

Richard Dickson of Newtown died peacefully on Friday, April 1, 2011, at his residence. He was 51.

Born in Philadelphia, he was the son of Patricia M. Savage Dickson and the late James E. Dickson and brother of the late Rachelle Dickson.

Rick was a resident of Newtown for the past 10 years. He was a graduate of Shawnee High School in Medford Lakes, NJ. Rick was a professional carpet installer, who was a master at carpet, tile and especially hardwood floors. An avid Phillies fan, he was hoping for a great season this year. Rick was a communicant of the Church of St. Andrew. He will be deeply missed by his family, friends and co workers.

In addition to his beloved mother, he is survived by his brother, James M. Dickson of Philadelphia , his sister, Francine Goldberg of Spring Hill. FL, a niece, Allie Goldberg and a nephew, Doug Goldberg.

Rick’s family will receive condolences on Thursday, April 7, 2011, from 9:45am until his Funeral Mass 10:30am at the Church of St. Andrew, 81 Swamp Road, Newtown. Interment will be private.

William J. McClain, Jr.

March 31st, 2011

William J. McClain, Jr. of Jamison, PA died surrounded by his loving family after a short but aggressive fight with cancer on Thursday, March 31, 2011, at Chandler Hall in Newtown. He was 67.

He was the beloved Husband of 47 years to Ann P. McHugh McClain.

Born in Philadelphia, he was the son of the late William, Sr. and Catherine Varga McClain.

Mr. McClain proudly owned and operated McClain Painting and Drywall since 1983. William was a devoted life member of the Feasterville Fire Company. He was a faithful parishioner of St. Cyril of Jerusalem Church for many years. In his leisure he enjoyed attending Country Music Concerts with his wife, fishing with friends and family, and spending quality family time at Barnegat Light, NJ. William will be sorely missed by everyone who has come to know and love him for the man that he is.

In addition to his wife Ann, William is survived by his devoted children and their spouses; Donna M. McClain Jones and Michael of Perkasie, Justine T. Coll and William of Chalfont, and William J. McClain III and Jennifer of Quakertown. He is also survived by his 5 loving grandchildren Matthew, Daniel, Rebecca, Kevin, and Tommy, and his sister Cathleen Ditro.

Tinothy C. Boyle Sr.

Timothy C. Boyle Sr., of Holland, died on Wednesday, March 30, 2011. He was 43.

He was the beloved son of William J. Jr. and Helen Buchholz Boyle of Holland.

Born in Philadelphia, Tim lived most of his life in Bucks County. He was a 1986 graduate of Council Rock High School. He was a sales representative for the steel industry for over 10 years.

Tim enjoyed the outdoors and looked forward to boating and skiing and had a keen ear for music.

In addition to his parents he is survived by his devoted son, Timothy C. Boyle, Jr. of Horsham his brother Michael P. Boyle and his wife Elaine of Hatboro and several aunts and uncles.

Jean M. Nealon (Donnelly)

Jean M. Nealon, of Warrington, PA died on Tuesday, March 29, 2011, at Wynwood of Montgomery. She was 79.

She was the beloved wife of the late James J. Nealon Sr..

Born in Philadelphia, PA, she was the daughter of the late John F. and Katherine M. Hagen Donnelly and sister of the late Jackie Donnelly.

Jean was a resident of Southampton for 30 years before moving to Warrington and after the loss of her husband on 2000. She was an active and energetic woman who loved working with others and enjoyed her many years working as a telephone operator and was proud to have been of the original Telephone Pioneers.

Always on the go she enjoyed traveling and did so extensively with her husband. Jean was very astute and enjoyed reading. She was aware and attentive to her community and was constantly on top of local and national current events, including her favorite baseball team; the Philadelphia Phillies. Her passion for life and love of her family and friends will always be remembered.

She is survived by her children Eileen Salvia and her husband Stephen of Warrington, PA, James J. Nealon Jr. of Ft. Myers, FL, her 2 brothers James Donnelly and his wife Ethel of Warrington, and Gerald Donnelly of Bensalem, her 3 sisters, Deborah Donnelly of Warrington, Mary Emery and her husband Robert of Warrington, and Claire Ahern of Leisuretowne, NJ. She is also survived by her 4 grandchildren Shawn, Jacquelyn, Cassandra and Jimmy.

James E. Rutkowski

James E. Rutkowski of North Hills, PA died peacefully on Tuesday, March 29, 2011, at his daughter’s residence surrounded by his family. He was 71.

He was the beloved husband of Catherine A. Fisher Rutkowski for 53 years.

Born in Philadelphia, he was the son of the late Edward and Mary Oleksyn Rutkowski.

Mr. Rutkowski was a resident of North Hills since 1965. Before his retirement in 2005, he was employed at POMCO Graphics for many years as an offset printer and had worked for various graphic companies throughout his life. In his leisure time, he enjoyed boating and salt water fishing but his true passion was for race cars. Using his own race car, he participated in drag racing at both Atco and Maple Grove Raceways. He was a family oriented man who always enjoyed the special times he spent with his children and grandchildren. He will be sadly missed as a loving husband, father and grandfather.

In addition to his beloved wife, he is survived by his four children, Michael E. Rutkowski of Perkasie, Donna L. Clarkson and her husband, Frank, of Warrington, James V. Rutkowski and his wife, Victoria, of Franconia Township, and Edward P. Rutkowski and his wife, Gretchen, of Sterling, VA. He is also survived by his four grandchildren: Paul, Lauren, Alexander and Natalie.

Mary K. Johnston Cleary -Williams, of Daytona Beach Shores, FL died on Tuesday, March 29, 2011, at her home. She was 77.

She was the beloved wife of 11 years to Stanley G. Williams and the late John J. Cleary Jr.

Born in Philadelphia, she was the daughter of the late Charles E. and Katherine Brennan Johnston.

Mary was a resident of Trevose for many years before moving to Ponce Inlet Florida in 1986. Mary has been living in Daytona Beach Shores, FL.

A graduate of Little Flower High School, Mary loved the beach, shopping, traveling, dancing and sewing.

In addition to her husband, she is survived by her daughters, Melissa Cleary of CA, Megan Cleary of FL, Katherine Kenny and her husband Martin of Kentucky, Jacqueline Sjostedt and her husband Daniel of Richboro her step daughters, Candace Thompson of TX and Karen Williams of Florida. She is also survived by her 10 dear grandchildren.

Ann G. Checkur of Upper Makefield Township died peacefully on Monday, March 28, 2011, at her home surrounded by her family. She was 71.

She was the beloved wife of the late George Checkur.

Born in Ashley, PA, she was the devoted daughter of the late John P. and Florence M. Cavanaugh Gallagher and sister of the late John Gallagher and the late Joseph Gallagher.

Mrs. Checkur was a resident of Upper Makefield Township for the past 10 years. She formerly lived in Colonia, NJ for 30 years prior to moving to Pennsylvania. Ann graduated from St. Leo’s School in Ashley, PA in 1957 and received her bachelor’s degree in Elementary Education from Misericordia University in Dallas, PA, Class of 1961. For 32 years, she taught kindergarten and first grade in various elementary schools in Woodbridge Township, NJ. In her leisure time, she enjoyed cooking and baking. Family was very important to her and she especially enjoyed the times spent with her two teenage grandsons. She will be sadly missed as a loving mother, nana, sister and friend.

She is survived by her daughter and “son”, Kimberly and Edward Gibbons of Upper Makefield Township, her sister, Jeanne Oliver of Spotswood, NJ, and two loving grandsons, Casey C. Gibbons and Liam G. Gibbons.
