Helen "Nanny" Dryzba (Berezny)

June 29th, 2011

Helen “Nanny” Dryzga of Doylestown, PA died peacefully on Wednesday, June 29, 2011, at Briarleaf Nursing Home, Doylestown, PA. She was 93.

She was the beloved wife of the late William W. Dryzga.

Born in Bayonne, NJ, she was the daughter of the late George and Mary Pavelchuk Berezny and sister of the late Mary Pytlik and Ann Joswick.

Mrs. Dryzga was a resident of Newtown for 20 years before moving to Doylestown. Nanny always enjoyed taking trips to Atlantic City and especially enjoyed the special times spent with her children and grandchildren. She will be sadly missed as a devoted mother, grandmother, and great grandmother.

She is survived by her three children, Reginald W. Dryzga of Newtown, Daniel F. Dryzga and his wife, Eileen, of Newtown, and Donna M. Kendall of Rancho Santa Margarita, CA. She is also survived by her five grandchildren, Danielle Schwartz, Daniel F. Dryzga Jr., Brian Dryzga, Jaime McGrath, Kevin Dryzga, her step-grandson, Ryan Kendall, and her six great grandchildren, Zachary and Shira Schwartz, Daniel and Thomas Dryzga, Liam and Gianna McGrath.

Relatives and friends are invited to call on Thursday evening, July 7, 2011 from 7:00 PM until her Memorial Service 8:00 PM at the Joseph A. Fluehr III Funeral Home, 800 Newtown-Richboro Road (at Holland Road), Richboro, PA 18954. Interment will be private.

Peter M. Andres, Ph.D. Andres

June 27th, 2011

Peter M. Andrews, Ph.D. of Bangor, PA died suddenly on Monday, June 27, 2011, at his residence. He was 43.

He was the beloved husband of Lisa A. (Hoffman) Andrews for 19 years.

Born in Abington, PA, he was the dear son of David and Barbara (Peters) Andrews of Ivyland, PA.

Peter was a resident of Bangor for the past 13 years. He graduated from Council Rock High School in 1986, and went on to earn his B.A. in biochemistry from Rutgers College in 1990. He then studied at Villanova University and earned his M.S. in chemistry in 1992, and later completed his Ph.D. in chemistry from the University of Pennsylvania, Class of 1997. Peter was employed at Merck-Schering Corporation in Livingston, NJ. He was an avid fly fisherman and enjoyed hunting and the outdoors. His favorite pastime was being surrounded by his children and fulfilling his role as a Daddy. He will be sadly missed as a loving husband, father, son and brother.

In addition to his beloved wife, he is survived by his three children, Elizabeth M., 17, Stephen M., 12, and Grace S.,9 all of Bangor, his parents, and two sisters, Joanne Andrews of Rushland, PA and Mary Andrews-Rosenberg and her husband, Aaron, of Brooklyn, NY, four nieces and one nephew.

Relatives and friends are invited to attend his viewing on Tuesday, July 5, 2011, from 8:30 AM until 10:15 AM at the Joseph A. Dorothy E. Neiman (Toogood)

Dorothy E. Neiman (nee Toogood), of Holland, PA died suddenly on June 25, 2011.

Dorothy was the beloved wife of the late Robert F. Neiman who passed away in 2006 from complications of Alzheimer’s Disease and loving mother of the late Robert W. Neiman.

She is survived by her loving children Dorothy Neiman, Richard Neiman, and Eileen Cain. She is also survived by 3 grandchildren and 4 great grandchildren.

Dorothy Wright (Finney)

June 25th, 2011

Dorothy F. (Dot) Wright of Holland, PA died peacefully on Saturday, June 25, 2011, at Holy Redeemer Hospice in Meadowbrook, PA with her family at her side. She was 88.
She was the beloved wife of Ira V. Wright for 64 years.
Born in Holland, PA, she was the daughter of the late Lafayette and Phoebe Paxson Finney.
A resident of Holland for all of her life, Dot graduated from Richboro High School, Class of 1941. She attended business school, and worked for LaValle Aircraft during the war. She was a lifelong member of North & Southampton Reformed Church in Churchville where she sang in the choir as a young adult and was a member of the Ruth Circle. She participated in Churchville Seniors events at her church. She also devoted time to Meals on Wheels.
Dot enjoyed cooking and baking, and she loved bringing her family together for birthday and holiday celebrations. She especially liked following her children and grandchildren as they participated in school, band, scouting, and sports activities. She travelled extensively with her husband, sometimes taking cruises. She visited all 50 states and much of Europe. She was an avid Phillies fan. She enjoyed taking and collecting photographs of her family. She will be sadly missed as a devoted wife, mother, grandmother, great grandmother, and sister.
In addition to her beloved husband, she is survived by her four children, Robert W. Wright of Newtown, PA, Gary A. Wright and his wife, Loretta, of Manasquan, NJ, Debra W. Reynolds and her husband, Doug, of Quakertown, PA, and Glenn F. Wright and his wife, Katherine, of Richmond, VA. She is also survived by her brother, William Finney and his wife, Mary Ellen, of Jamison, her nine grandchildren, and one great grandchild.
Relatives and friends are invited to attend her viewing on Saturday, July 2, 2011, from 10:00 AM until her Funeral Service 11:00 AM at North & Southampton Reformed Church, 1380 Bristol Road, Churchville, PA 18966. Interment will take place at Churchville Cemetery. There will be a luncheon following the service in the church auditorium.

Ruth Skillman (Smith)

Ruth Smith Skillman of Newtown, PA died peacefully on Friday, June 24, at Neshaminy Manor in Warrington.

She was 80.

Born in Rocky Hill, NJ she was the daughter of the late Thomas and Martha Jennings Smith and mother of the late Lynn R. Simpson.

Ruth Skillman has been a resident of Newtown for over 25 years. Prior to moving to Newtown, she grew up and raised her family in Princeton, NJ. Since her retirement from Walter B. Howe Inc. of Princeton, Ruth has enjoyed spending time gardening and spending time with her beloved grandchildren creating fond memories. She will be sorely missed by everyone who has had the pleasure to know and love her.

Ruth is survived by her loving children; Michael V. Skillman and Rose of Skillman, NJ, William T. Skillman of Honolulu, HI, Heidi A. Skillman of Cummings, GA and Jeffrey Skillman and Karen of Perkasie. She is also survived by her brother Thomas B. Smith of NJ and her 7 grandchildren Jaclyn, Christopher, Lindsey, Justin, Kaitlyn, Kirsten, and Jonathan.

Joseph G. Manfredonia

Joseph G. Manfredonia died Thursday, June 23, 2011 at Chandler Hall Hospice with his loving wife by his side. He was 84.

Joe was the beloved husband of 55 years to Barbara Ann Cimbala Manfredonia.

Born in Philadelphia, he was the son of the late Gaetona and Luisa De Leonardaris Manfredonia and brother-in-law of the late Albert Zaremba.

Joe was a former resident of Huntingdon Valley for 25 years before moving to Newtown in 1992. He was a graduate of Olney High School and received his Bachelor Degree in Business from LaSalle University in 1964.

Joe was the Co-Founder and Partner of Metal Dynamics in Philadelphia and had worked until his retirement in 1991. He was a veteran of the US Navy serving during World War II. Joe was a former Communicant of St. Albert the Great Church in Huntingdon Valley and currently a Communicant and Eucharist Minister at the Church of St. Andrew in Newtown. In his leisure, Joe enjoyed college sports and the Philadelphia sports teams, especially the Phillies and the Eagles. He will be deeply missed by his family and by all who came to know him.

In addition to his beloved wife Barbara Ann, Joe is survived by his sister-in-law Sandra Jane Zaremba of Marlton, NJ and his niece Aimee Sarah Zaremba of Haddon Twp., NJ.

Relatives and friends are invited to attend his viewing, Wednesday, June 29, 2011 from 9:30am until his Funeral Mass 11:00am at the Church of St. Andrew, 81 Swamp Road, Newtown, PA 18940.

Michael C. Cebzanov

Michael C. Cebzanov of Churchville, PA died peacefully on Monday, June 20, 2011, at his residence with his family by his side. He was 59.

Born in Philadelphia and a resident of Churchville for more than six years, he was the son of the late Rada W. and Nancy Napoli Cebzanov.

He was a proud veteran of the U.S. Air Force having served during the Vietnam War. Michael was a member of the Elks Lodge #2023 in Fairless Hills. He enjoyed spending time with his friends watching sports at his home. He was a devoted fan of Bruce Springsteen.

He will be sadly missed and is survived by his beloved wife,Victoria B. Dworak Cebzanov, his brother, Robert J. Cebzanov and his wife, Christine, of Philadelphia and his mother-in-law, Victoria H. Dworak of Richboro.

Herman J.Scheier, of Warminster, died on June 12, 2011.

Herman was the beloved husband of 66 years to the late Kathryn Beaver Scheier. He was the dearest father of Kathryn DiNezza (Dante), Margaret Scheier, Robert Scheier (Patricia), Lisa Ruggieri (John), Thomas Scheier (Deborah), dear brother of the late Mary Rafferty, devoted grandfather of 11 grandchildren and 6 great-grandchildren.

Philip J. Kuznick Jr.

June 12th, 2011

Philip J. Kuznick Jr. of Langhorne died Sunday, June 12th, at the St. Mary Medical Center in Langhorne. He was 79.

Mr. Kuznick was the beloved husband of Sonja Westergard Kuznick for 12 years.

Born in Philadelphia, PA, he was the son of the late Philip and Sophie Lazinski Kuznick Sr.

Mr. Kuznick was a Proud Veteran of the Navy. He was employed with the Marriott Corporation for many years, and was most recently the Trip Coordinator at Pennswood Village. Phil was an accomplished musician, who in his younger days recorded an album with his band. He also enjoyed playing his keyboard for many audiences at the Londonshire House in Burlington, NJ. In addition to his love for music, Phil shared an enormous love and appreciation for his wife, children, and grandchildren. Phil will be sorely missed by everyone who has come to know and love him.

In addition to his beloved wife Sonja, Phil is survived by his 4 loving children Sharon Niblick, Michael Kuznick (Sue), Patricia Risma, and James Forte (Shannon) and his 4 step-sons David Kilgariff (Debra), Douglas Kilgariff (Heather), Dennis Kilgariff (Dawn Marie), and Dale Kilgariff (Lara). He is also survived by his brother Edward Kuznick (Sharon), 18 grandchildren and 2 great grandchildren.

Phil’s Family will receive condolences on Saturday, June 18th, 2011 at 1:00 PM prior to his Memorial Service beginning at 2:00 PM at the Joseph A. Fluehr III Funeral Home, 800 Newtown-Richboro Rd. (at Holland Rd.) Richboro, PA 18954.

Joseph P. Messina

June 11th, 2011

Joseph P. Messina, 53 of Hatboro, PA died Saturday, June 11, 2011 at the home of his brother in Warminster.

He was the son of the late Joseph P. Messina and Dorothy Quattrociocchi Betik and brother of the late Thomas Messina and Linda Saldutti.

Joey as he was known was part of the 1976 Upper Moreland High School Graduating Class. For many years he worked in the Textile Industry and worked at the Philadelphia College of Textiles. Most recently he worked in the printing industry working for Fort Dearborn Company in King of Prussia. Joey will be deeply missed by his loving family and friends.

He is survived by his dear sister, Victoria Peterson of Hatboro, his two supportive brothers, Steven Terrell and his wife Paula of Lutz, Florida and Chris Messina and his wife Cathy of Warminster. His nieces and nephews, Charlie, Stephanie, Holly, Valerie, Wayne, Jason, Libby, Christopher, Tom, David, James, Joshua, Caitlyn and Amanda. He is also survived by many great nieces and nephews and two additional to be born soon.
