Ruth L Dykes of Langhorne, 93 years old passed away after a brief illness on July 8, 2016.
Ruth was the widow of the late Frank S Dykes Sr. She was the beloved mother of Linda E Clauhs (William) of Langhorne and Frank S. Dykes Jr. (Diane) of Warminster. She was also the loving grandmother of five grandchildren and eleven great Grandchildren.
Ruth was well loved at St. Mary’s Medical Center in Langhorne were she logged over 16,000 hours of service over a 32 year period, working as a volunteer at the hospital right up to the week before her death.
Following Ruth’s wishes, services and internment were attended by her immediate family.
Any donations in Ruth’s name are requested to be made to the Healing Environments Program at Saint Mary’s Medical Center, Langhorne-Newtown Rd. Langhorne, PA 19047.

David M. Evans of Wrightstown, PA passed away Thursday, July 7, 2016. He was 49.
Dave was the beloved husband of 21 years to Andrea Evans and loving father of Jordan Evans, Samantha Evans and Dana DiSantis and fiancé Joshua Odeitus.
He was the son of Tom and Carol (Reecamper) Evans, also of Wrightstown.
Dave was a resident of Wrightstown for most of his life, being born and raised there. He was a graduate of Council Rock High School and Middle Bucks Tech School, Class of 1985.
A man with a big grin and a bigger heart, he loved motorcycles, cars and racing, but his true love and passion was his wife and three girls. After getting through his tough skin, many grew to love him. Dave was involved for many years at Oaklane Quarter Midget Racing Club, where his daughters were competitors. He also enjoyed frequent trips to NASCAR races and four wheeling in the mountains of Potter County.
Dave will be deeply missed by his loving family; brother, Ed Evans and his wife Lauri, of Holland; sister, Diane Evans, of Pottstown and nephews and nieces; Dillon Evans, of Holland; Nicole Evans, of West Chester; Alicia Benecke of Trumbauersville and Tim Davis of Schwenksville; along with many cousins from around the world. He was a treasured friend to many.
David’s family will receive friends on Wednesday, July 13 from 6:00pm until his Memorial Service 8:00pm at Joseph A. Fluehr III Funeral Home, 800 Newtown-Richboro Road (at Holland Rd.), Richboro, PA 18954.

Irene Staniewski of Yardley, PA died peacefully on Monday, July 4, 2016, at Brookdale Northampton, Richboro, PA. She was 88.
She was the beloved wife of the late Marjan Staniewski.
Born in Lublin, Poland, she was the daughter of the late Michal and Karolina Wojcik Litwinski.
Mrs. Staniewski was a resident of Yardley for the past 2 ½ years and formerly lived in the Port Richmond section of Philadelphia from 1951 until 2012. From 1958 until retiring in 2012, Irene was the owner of Irene’s Dry Cleaning located in Port Richmond. She was affectionately known as “Irene the Tailor” and became a seamstress while operating her business.
In her leisure time she always enjoyed sewing, besides it being a part of her business, and gardening. Irene was family oriented and cherished the special times spent with her grandchildren and great grandchildren.
She is survived by her two daughters, Christine T. Phillips of Yardley, PA and Jadwiga Yates and her husband, Dennis, of Henderson, NV, her two grandsons, Kenneth J. Phillips and Darren P. Phillips and his wife, Jeanne. She is also survived by her two great grandsons, Nathan & Shane Phillips.

William T. "Bill" Schwartz, Jr.
July 4th, 2016
William T. Schwartz, Jr., (Bill) of Buckingham, PA, went home to be with his Lord and Savior on Monday, July 4, 2016, at home with his family nearby. He was 98 ½ years old. As we celebrated Independence Day here, Bill was celebrating his new freedom in heaven with his wife of 58 years, Edythe A. (Maeder) Schwartz, who preceded him in death in 2000, as well as former family and friends.
Born in Clayton, NJ, he was the son of the late William T. Schwartz, Sr., and his wife, Ada E. (Wilkins) Schwartz.
Bill was a long time resident of Philadelphia, PA, until 2000, when he moved to Buckingham, PA to live with his son, William H. Schwartz, Sr., and his family. He graduated from University of Pennsylvania with a degree in Accounting and Finance. He also attended the Philadelphia Bible Institute. He was employed in management at Arthur H. Thomas Scientific Apparatus Company for over 35 years. Before retiring, he was self-employed as an Electrical Contractor and Real Estate Investor. Bill was very proud to be a Captain in the U.S. Army, serving in both World War II and the Korean War. In his free time, he loved attending his grandsons’ lacrosse, basketball, baseball, and theater events. Serving the Lord and witnessing to others was his utmost priority. Over the years, he attended Berachah, Burholme Baptist, and First Brethren churches, all in Philadelphia, then Hilltown Baptist Church and, most recently, Covenant Church in Buckingham.
Lovingly known as “Pop-Pop,” Bill is survived by his son, William H. Schwartz, Sr., and his wife, Rebecca Lynn Schwartz, of Buckingham, PA. He is also survived by his two loving grandsons, William H. Schwartz, Jr., and Bryan N. Schwartz, also of Buckingham, PA. He was preceded in death by his younger siblings: two sisters, Virginia Schwartz and Clara (Schwartz) Reemsta, and two brothers, Ashton and Charles Schwartz.

Joan B. Sweeney, a long time resident of Langhorne and Trevose, passed away on Saturday, July 2, 2016 at her home with her loving family by her side. She was 77.
Joan was the beloved wife of 50 years to the late William E. Sweeney who passed away in 2007.
Born in Philadelphia she was a daughter of the late LaVern and Katherine Hallman Quay and grandmother of the late Brooke Miller.
Joan attended Olney High School and later met and married her beloved husband Bill and together they raised their family. She was gregarious, friendly, and a great lover of animals.
Most of all Joan will be remembered as a true family woman. Her unwavering dedication to her daughters, grandchildren and her entire family was admired by all who knew her. Her strength, perseverance, and determination in the face of adversity were a true inspiration to all and she will be dearly missed.
Surviving are her daughters, Beth Miller (Paul Brady), Alison Annan (Michael Annan) and Melanie Moffatt (Patrick Moffatt). She also leaves behind her adoring grandchildren, Michael R. Miller, Michael W. and Madison A. Annan and Chase P. and Logan T. Moffatt; and her siblings, Debbie Leigh, Gail Zimmerman and Byron “Louie” Quay.

Kevin W.Chalmers, of Perkasie, PA died on Saturday, July 2, 2016, at Pennsylvania Hospital. He was 56.
He was the beloved husband of 32 years to Eileen Chalmers.
Born in New York, NY, he was the son of William L. Chalmers and his wife, Patricia, of The Villages, FL, and his mother, Mary A. Chalmers-Long, of Chula Vista, CA.
Kevin grew up in New Brunswick, NJ, and after graduating from St. Peter’s High School in 1977, he went to work for a printing company in Teterboro, NJ. In the early 1980’s he took a position with Webcraft Technologies (now Quad/Graphics), in North Brunswick, and in 1986 transferred to Bucks County, PA where he and his family remained for the past 30 years.
Even though he left New Jersey over 30 years ago, Kevin loved to root for the New York Giants and Rangers, and he wore their colors with pride. During the summers he loved fishing, relaxing at Long Beach Island and Dewey Beach, and listening to country music.
In addition to his loving wife and parents, he is also survived by his two children; Jeffrey Kevin Chalmers and his wife, Ashley, of London, England, Reagan Kathryn Hilliard and her husband, William, of Ottsville, PA, and his sister Carolyn Chalmers and her husband, Robert Tompkins, of San Diego, CA. He is also survived by his loving granddaughter, Margot L. Chalmers.
His family will receive relatives and friends on Wednesday, July 6, 2016 from 10:00 AM until his Memorial Service and Celebration of Life at 11:30 AM at the Joseph A. Fluehr III Funeral Home, 241 East Butler Ave. (at Sandy Ridge Road) New Britain, PA 18901. His interment will be held privately.

Marcella D. (McCloskey) O’Kane a long time resident of Richboro, passed away on Saturday, July 2, 2016 at her home. She was 75.
Marcella was the beloved wife of 54 years to Joseph M. O’Kane, Sr.
Born in West Philadelphia, a West Catholic grad, she was the daughter of the late Bernard “Mickey” and Matilda “Tilly” Smedley McCloskey.
Cella, as her husband whom she nicknamed ‘Mike’ on the night they met called her, was much more than a devoted mother and wife. She was the glue that bound her family and friends to her. She was a physical beauty with a personality that exceeded her good looks. Her friends were friends for life, Mary, Joan, Dot, Mattie, Till, Barbara, all her best friends as a young girl were still her closest friends at her passing. Her best friend Nancy felt as though they were joined at the hip. Her children’s friends saw her as their surrogate mother, never afraid to bring their problems and questions to her for help. The O’Kane’s seldom ate dinner without a couple of the children’s friends at the table, and on vacations there were always a couple of spare kids along. She was fierce in her protection of her family and seeing the right thing done or denouncing a wrong. Cella was class pure and simple, she unabashedly loved family, home, Bucks County, and her country, and her Irish heritage
In addition to her husband, Marcella is survived by her children, Joseph M. O’Kane, Jr., Marcella Matilda McDonald, Bridgett O’Kane Rouse and her husband, Dr. Keith A. Rouse, and Dawn O’Kane Sulmasy and her husband, Warren Sulmasy. She also leaves behind her adoring grandchildren, Erin Shawn O’Kane, William Todd McDonald, Jr., Keith Aaron Rouse, Jr., Joseph C. Rouse, McCaillaigh B. Rouse, Kendall M. Sulmasy, and Siena M. Sulmasy; her brothers, Joseph McCloskey and Richard T. McCloskey and his wife, Carol and many nieces and nephews.

Mildred A. Zeltner, of Holland, died Saturday, July 2, 2016. She was 83. Prior to moving to Twining Village in Holland, she was a longtime resident of Trevose.
Born and raised in Philadelphia, Millie was the daughter of the late Albert and Almeda (Kimber) Ash and sister of the late Albert Ash. She was formerly married to the late James Zeltner and was the mother of the late James Zeltner, Jr. and Joseph Zeltner.
Surviving is Millie’s daughter Karen Sayer, Willow Grove,; her grandchildren, Kevin Sayer, Ambler, and Kristin Sayer, Horsham; her brother Robert Ash and his wife, Ann, Philadelphia, and extended family and friends.
Millie enjoyed her longtime career as a quality control manager in the carpet and direct mail industries. She excelled at her work and received industry recognition for designing and writing a definitive quality control manual. A crossword puzzle addict, she also was an avid Eagles and Phillies fan and enjoyed spending time with her close circle of friends at Twining Village.
A graveside service will be held on Saturday, July 23, 2016, 10:30 am, at Holy Sepulchre Cemetery in Cheltenham, PA.

John A. Pagliei Sr. of Churchville, PA passed away unexpectedly on Friday, July 1, 2016, at Holy Redeemer Hospital in Meadowbrook, PA. He was 93.
He was the beloved husband of Aileen Walch Pagliei for 64 years.
Born in Philadelphia, PA, he was the son of the late Anthony and Angela Lucchetti Pagliei and brother of the late Margaret Trombetta.
Mr. Pagliei was a resident of Churchville since 1990 and formerly lived in Huntingdon Valley, PA. He graduated from La Salle University, with his bachelor’s degree in Accounting. Before retiring in 1985, he was employed for 32 years as Chief Accountant at the Defense Supply Center located in South Philadelphia. While working a full time job during the day, he taught accounting for 12 years at La Salle University Evening Division. He was a proud veteran of the U.S. Army having served during World War II and continued for 30 years in the Army Reserves before retiring as a Lieutenant Colonel. In his leisure time, he enjoyed golfing, playing bridge and travelling extensively with his wife.
In addition to his beloved wife, John is survived by his daughter, Melinda J. Pagliei and her fiance’, Reed Siegel, of North Wales, PA and his son, John A. Pagliei Jr., D.M.D. and his fiancé Marilyn of Delanco, NJ. He is also survived by his two loving granddaughters, Jillian Marie & Jennifer Michelle Pagliei.

Dennis R. Camp of Langhorne, PA died peacefully on Thursday, June 30, 2016 after a long and courageous battle with cancer surrounded by his loved ones at St. Mary Medical Center in Langhorne. He was 66.
He was the beloved husband of 39 years to Barbara E. “Babs” (nee McGuckin) Camp.
Born in Bainbridge, PA Dennis was the son of the late Martin and Margaret M. (nee Keck) Camp.
Dennis worked for many years for R.J. Reynolds and Commonwealth/Altadis Tobacco companies in the Bucks County and Philadelphia region. He was active with the Langhorne Athletic Association with his sons, and during his tenure there, he served as the Associations President for a few years. Dennis was a man with many talents and interest, but above all his devotion and love for his family was pinnacle. Dennis will be greatly missed but always loved by everyone who has had the pleasure to have crossed paths with him.
In addition to his wife Babs, Dennis is survived by his two loving sons Derek and his wife Allison of Levittown and Brian of Alexandria, VA. He is also survived by his dear grandchildren Aubrey and Brooklyn, a brother Martin Camp, a sister Sherry Beam (Eugene) and his Best Buds.
