Bruce,
You were truly an amazing woman, and you will be greatly missed. I cherish the chats we would have at family gatherings. Through my own hard times you would give me words of wisdom. I truly understood your pain, and I am so relieved that God reached down and whispered come with me, You are free of it now. Your presence will be missed. May your family find peace, and know that in every hug they receive you are there holding them also. Until we meet at the pearly gates my friend,if you should see my family tell them I Love You all. ps. don't worry about Sal I'll watch over down here for you. Love ya Bruce

What a wonderful and funny women. So many fond and funny memories hanging around the house growing up. Ozzi, Mildred and Sallie were like family to me. Just moved back into my moms down the street and when I would see her getting out of the car I would stop and chat she would ask about mom who just went through her own challenge with breast cancer. Sallie was so glad that I was back at the house because she missed my moms light on in the kitchen window. I made sure that light was on all the time for her. Thanks for the dinners at Odette's even the escargot (snails) and the walk through New Hope with Sallie Jr. :) Rest in peace. You will be truly missed.

Sitting with you in the hospital these past few days I wanted nothing more then to see you out of pain. I wanted your struggle to be over, for you to be at peace. What I wanted was for God, the doctors, someone to take the cancer from your body so you could just be my Bruce again. You are at peace now. I know you are. You fought so hard all the way up until the end. I am so glad that I was able to be there for you, holding your hand and rubbing your head just like I am sure you have done for me so many times in the past. I will miss you Bruce. My heart aches at the thought of you not here. But we will get through this. Because while my heart aches it also knows that you are finally free of the cancer. Who was waiting for you on the other side? I asked quite a few people to be there. You should have had a grand entrance, I would expect nothing less. I love you Bruce. I know one day we will be together again. Until that time......
