Dear Judy, Jim, Rosemary and all your family. I have only just heard that Helen passed on Sunday. I flew in from London on Sunday. I have not seen Helen for a while, and I know she would be worrying about me, as we had so many amazing times together. I can truly call Helen one of my best girlfriends. I 'adopted' her as my mother here in the States. We would go to church together, have lunch thereafter, go out to musical events - Helen could stay up much later than I could! My family are in Ireland right now, so I was planning on seeing Helen tomorrow, way overdue. I can only celebrate with you all your Mom's amazing spirit, sense of humor, care and love. I am sorry I missed her funeral today ~ if there was one funeral I did not want to miss it would be for Helen. Please accept my sincere condolence. I will miss your Mom so very much. Love Carol

Dear Jim and family,
I pray the warm and loving memories you carry with you will give you peace, comfort and joy until one day you can be together again. The love you shared is timeless and will never be lost.

Your mother and I came to Pennswood at the same time 8 years ago--she as a resident and I as a new employee. I still remember meeting with her in her apartment and her telling me that she was not moving any of her personal items into the apartment yet as she was not sure that she would be staying. I am happy that she stayed and that I had gotten to know her so well more recently in Barclay. It has been a pleasure working with her and the family who have always shown their love and support for this wonderful mother, grandmother, and great-grandmother.
