I met John back in the 80's. I interned with John at Active Audio and Snugfit studios. John taught me everything I know when it comes to music - And it wasnt all music with John, he was very easy to talk to about anything. Funny story I remember, in 1990 I was in his studio to record and I wanted to capture the sound of my cars bad brake pads so we mounted his Dat recorder to my car and mic'd the front wheel and drove through the neighborhood in a blizzard to record the screeching brake pads. Seemed like we were always doing crazy stuff in the studio. RIP John

I've had the pleasure of recording with John over a span of nearly 2 decades. He was a great engineer and was highly knowledgeable. Our band, Little Red Rooster, depended on John in every aspect of recording from pre production to post production. We always were confident we would never be steered in the wrong direction. John always was spot on. We are all deeply saddened to hear of his sudden passing. We feel we lost a significant member of our band. You will be missed greatly by us.

Such sad news. John and my brother, Al, were best friends in their youth, riding their bikes all over Bucks County. I reconnect with John two years ago when we were in search of wine for a fundraising event. He was still the same, wonderful, funny and a bit quirky John. Sending our sympathies to his wife and family. He will be missed for sure.
