To the entire Samson Family,
I can't express enough how fortunate I was to have known and worked with Karen for the past 11 years. She was an extremely wonderful and extraordinary lady. She had such a magical personality... so comforting to be around. She could ease any situation no matter how bad it seemed with just a smile. The Pink Ribbon Open was not and will never be the same without her. I have to thank Karen for giving me the strength from heaven to make it through this year's event without her!

Karen was one of those rare people who pass through your life and leave a lasting mark and memory. Karen was a true professional and respected colleague. For years, no matter what the HR question was, the answer was always, "Call Karen." And she was always there and always had the right answer. To everyone Karen worked with, she was much more than a colleague ... Karen was a trusted friend. In that capacity too, she was always there. My thoughts go out to her family. You couldn't know Karen without knowing her family. They were her every reason. I will miss her phone ringing in meetings to signal her that her girls had gotten home safely. Today and forever, I miss you Karen!

Dear Reuben, Shirley, Rebecca, Rachel, and Danielle,
I am so sorry for your loss. I will continue to pray that you all can comfort each other as time passes.
Karen was a beautiful person. Her laughter was infectious and will forever be my foundest memory of her. We all felt like we knew each of you personally as she was so proud and always so eager to talk about all the sports activities. Her favorite line to us all was "IT's All Good" and it keeps ringing in my head as if she is again there for everyone, giving support as she always was. She will be so missed and I am greatful that she touched all of our lives so much. God bless you all. MDD (Colleague at Northtec)

Girls,
It’s been 10 years but I haven’t forgotten the year I spent living at your house. Your mom thought me so much, and all of you will always have a special place in my life. I still call you “my girls” and have you all in my heart. Be strong for each other.
Reuben, Nanna and Papa D,
There are no words to express how sad I feel... Karen’s loving, caring nature captivated those fortunate enough to know her, and I am glad to be among those people. She was so special and during all these 10 years she sent pictures of the girls to me and also to my family in Brazil. There is not a price for that... We are all very sad...
Her love for you was the soul of her life. And your love for her will help you go on.
I love you all.
Luciana Zanini Sousa and Family.
