Dear Mrs. Hanner,
It was my great pleasure to have known and experienced Erwin. He was truly one of a kind; grumpy and kind, funny and serious, demanding and understanding — all together! I loved being around him and will miss him sorely. Very rarely does one meet a man of Erwin’s caliber and have the good fortune to call him a friend.
