Gene, what a great guy. Gene and Kay came into our lives about 12 years ago what wonderful people.. We were lucky to camp next to them at a Bluegrass festival. Then the tradition began, our own little bluegrass family what wonderful memories we made. He will always have a special place in my heart. I love you Gene

We are friends of Dawn's and although we never had the joy of meeting Gene. Dawn always had a great story or something to say about her daddy. I feel like I really knew Gene through Dawn. I can see her in his smile, seeing his pictures and through Dawn & Tony's children as well. Thank you Gene for giving to me one of my dearest friends, Dawn. With all our love ~xoxo~

Where to start....his smile!! Always his smile! Gene was a great guy with a great family. His love for his family and friends knew no bounds. I have so many happy memories with Gene, Kay and all the family! Gene and Kay have always been the most gracious hosts with all who entered their home. Gene always made me feel so welcome and genuinely glad to see me! I will miss you my friend. You and Danny are really going to have some fun now. I can the party everyone threw you by the effects of Sandy...Big hugs ntil I see you guys again!!
