My heart and prayers go out to my dear Aunt, Arlene and to Frank's family. Frank was was a brilliant man with a love for life. He surely will be missed by many. I pray that those close to him will find peace in knowing that his struggles are over and that he is at home with the Lord.

Frank, I will miss our telephone conversations. In season your garden report was something to behold. Radishs, tomatos, cucumbers, broccoli, etc, all need to be planted and harvested. There were spring and summer crops. But September 1, the garden was taked down for the year. Then you would wait all winter for spring to arrive.
And yes there was the wine. Where you buy it; how you drink it;
what glasses to use. But, most of all, what you should look for when buying. Wine Spectator was always a good source for information. You gave us the magazines but took out the coupons first.
Then, there are the trees you took down; the firewood; cutting the grass, mulching the leaves. Finally, drinking wine under the tree in the shade.
Frank you had a good life. Arlean gave you a nice home to live in. Lucky guy! Retiring at age 55 was a stroke of brilliance. It gave you five years of cancer free life until age sixty.
Also, you fought cancer for fifteen years and bore the pain and suffering. Few people can appreciate what you had to go through. But you did it over and over again.
Everyone liked you. You were easy going, polite, and always willing to give your time to anyone who wanted to talk to you. You had many friends. At times you would give vegetables to all your neighbors for free. Who wouldn't like you?
You will be missed. I won't be able to call you anymore and I won't be getting calls from you and see your name on caller ID.
All in all, what can be said other than your sudden departure is a great loss. Good by Franklin Roosevelt Banford. God Bless you forever and forever............
