All Bill's classmates at CHA are deeply saddened by his passing. A better friend and more affable guy could not be imagined. Bill used to end arguements by simply saying, "look, I'm right and you're wrong" with a big grin on his face. That's how we'll all remember him. Till we meet again...

Bill encouraged my start and inspired my continuation as a volleyball official. His keen wit and intelligence provided personal training and professional modeling for me and so many others. His prominent stature in our community will be sorely missed. . . Rest well, my fiend; you've earned just rewards. My deepest sympathies go to your family. Namaste.

Bill was in charge of my training to become a junior national and later national official within USAV circles. I was a transplanted California guy who was in Pennsylvania at a tourney Bill was involved with getting some referee training, that is how I got to know this fine man...He was a terrific role model for all of us...and he took the time to really help me...in a way that was just typically Bill. Humorous, caring, and just fun to be around. Nothing was too monumental for him. I will miss seeing him around. My best to his family and friends.
