I have always admired Jack's dedication to the game and he was a great goalie and teammate. #82 will always be in mine, and everyone elses hearts forever. We will all miss you Jack.

We are so very sorry for your loss and our prayers are with you all every minute. Jack was a good friend to Danny and he misses him terribly. We take comfort in knowing there is one more angel helping God now. Danny thinks when Jack first met God, he used his handshake trick on him to make him smile. God bless all of you and comfort you.

Saturday we had a team meeting at Hatfield Ice at the scheduled game time. It was a tough event, but the team came together to remember Jack and start the grieving process together. All the boys and virtually all the parents were able to attend. The boys sat arm in arm along one side of the locker room and comforted each other. Lots of tears were shed by the players, coaches, and parents.
We played our first game without Jack this morning at the Univ. of Delaware. The boys frequently mentioned missing Jack, and going out and winning for Jack as we got ready for the game. Their sticks were all taped with Jack's famous red tape. The Jr. Blue Hens announced Jack's name over the PA before the game and we had a moment of silence. When the puck dropped, the boys played their hearts out, winning 10-3 with coach Shawn pulling back hard on the reins for the entire 3rd period.
We dearly miss having Jack between pipes and with us in the locker room, but we will always feel him there with us.
