I really thought your Dad was special - we shared the love of flying. I will always remember GREENWOOD AND MILLER signs on the houses for sale! God Bless!Four

I will always have warm memories of Mr. Greenwood. He was always quick with a smile. It was fun to watch him and my Father mentally sparring.
My best wishes to your family.

I am so sorry to hear that the world has lost Mr. Greenwood. He and Alice have been wonderful family friends for as long as I can remember. I recently came across a very funny birthday 'book' that was created for my father, showing the humor of Mr. & Mrs. Greenwood...now a keepsake. I believe that heaven will soon be a better organized and fun place with his presence. My best wishes to the family.

You were easily one of the finest human beings I have ever known and your passion for life inspires me still.

To the family of Jim Greenwood,
Just a note to say how sorry I am for your loss. My dad was also in the 8th Army Air Force in England. He was a B-17 pilot with the 100th Bomb Group stationed at Thorpes Abbott air field. I am a Vietnam Vet with a strong interest in WWII aviation history. I currently belong to the 8th Air Force Historical Society. Did Jim write anything about his WWII service bombing experience ? Would love to see if so.
