Dear Geoff and Dawn,
It has been quite a few years now since I saw your mom, but I am so very sorry to hear about her passing. (My mom sent me a note this morning from Gloria Dei.) I still remember her so well and very fondly.
I always liked being with your mom and talking with her about everything from writing to whatever was happening in the world or our lives. :) Even though I was only 15 at the time, she always made me feel like part of your family. She was giving, warm, and incredibly welcoming.
Geoff, my deepest condolences to you and Dawn and your families. To your mom, family was everything; several years ago when I was back in Philadelphia and I saw her at church, she was beaming with pride while talking about how well everyone was doing. She was happy and you could tell her family was the source of that. You were always, always her world.
Keeping you very much in my thoughts,
Melissa Middleman Firman

I am so sorry for your loss. I'll always remember Connie as a kind, generous and loving cousin. We had many happy times together as children, and I'm so glad that we renewed our friendship as adults.
