I just learned of Stephanie's passing and wanted to give her family my deepest sympathies. I immediately thought of our 6th grade dances and karate kicking to van halens "jump". She was beautiful and cool but didnt act like she really believed it. She had a special spirit and had a dramatic positive effect on all those that knew her even for a short period of time. Steph you are greatly missed by all that knew you.

We all called her Steph. She was a standout star of the Wholesale Divison at Bantam Doubleday Dell. I hired Stephanie to be one of our assistant sales administrators 20 some years ago. By the second day the whole floor and then the entire company knew her, or of her. Steph was such a joyous, hilarious, postive presence in our department and company. Those who were fortunate to know her remember Steph as impossibly smart, always up, an infectious charm, kind to all, turned every head, modest, massively loved Mike, and was a truly wonderful young woman. My wife Cynthia Lasky and I adored her and got to know her "Mikey" too. Our hearts go out to you, Mike and of course your children and family. She made a point of keeping in touch after leaving BDD and I am forever grateful for that. Her spirit will live on in our hearts, minds, and the memory imbeded in my brain is he smile. Steph was so special in so many ways and touched all who knew and loved her.

We knew Stephanie as a child beginning to flower. It seems incredible that such a wonderful person could be taken from this earth so early. Our deepest sympathies go out to all of your family.

We just heard about Stephanie's ill health, totally shocked to hear that we have lost her. John, Judy & Kristin - cannot imagine your pain, let alone that of her husband & children that we have never met.
Our heartfelt sadness is shared. We wish you any measure of healing in adjusting to life with her only in memory.
