Dear Martha,
We are so sorry for the loss of your Best Friend, Joe.
With a smile do I look back on our trips to Germany and France together. Or the time when we had chartered a helicopter and in the moment of greatest fear due to a violent wind-shear over the Appalachian Mountain Ridge, Joe opened the small window and pretended we were on a mission over Vietnam, snapping the rest of us out of our mortal panic. Joe also always went out of his way by sending a driver to take all the stress off Pat when she had to take our son every three months to the Morton Institute.
Joe was always fun to be with and did everything he could when help was needed.
Pat and I will pray for you, Martha, that God may be on your side, and be your refuge and strength in the days before you.
With Love
Hans and Pat

Dear Martha and Family
Please accept our sincere condolences at this difficult time. We mourn with you the passing of our dear friend, Joe. Joe always brought some sunshine into people's lives with his witticisms, laughter, and positive attitude. Joe could break out into a song at a moments notice. He was always helping others because of his generosity. We hold dear our memories of the times we spent with the two of you ever since our chance meeting a long time ago on that cruise ship in Piraeus. Laura and I will miss him sorely.
Gods peace to you and your family
Bob and Laura Vukovich
