Dear Sellen family,
I had the honor of meeting Alex when my daughter Laura was participating in the "The Tech-less Teen" segment done by NBC. He was truly a charismatic young man and his smile was contagious. A rare quality that I knew would bring him success in his future endeavors. My eyes are filled with tears. Words cannot express my sorrow for your loss.

Mr. and Mrs. Sellen: I am Alex's seventh grade social studies teacher. I can tell you, without a doubt, he made each day brighter. He was truly a light. I fondly remember Alex as being so funny, witty and genuinely with a kind heart. I am deeply saddened for your loss. May Alex's memory guide you in this time of sorrow.
