I rode with Dan many times and I'll think of him every time I put on a Mad Dan's Pedalers jersey or t shirt. He made everyone feel welcome and important to the mission of the American Cancer Society. I will always recall how many volunteers he could gather up to assist riders in the ACS ride. It was a testament to the charismatic guy that he was. The world is a lesser place without him. I'll pray for Dan, Nancy and the rest of his family.

Danny,
You were my big brother/father for many years. You took me in, believed in me and always saw the best in me. You believed in me and never doubted me. You saw so much more in me than I ever imagined. More importly you would have loved me and believed in me no matter what. I will always love you for being a goid friend n father figure to me but more importantly for being a best friend and brother to my sister Mary and Jim and a great "Uncle" to David, Kirsten, Patrick and John. Watch over us all dear man.

Uncle Danny was the best uncle anyone could ask for. Kind is an understatement. He was always smiling. You will be dearly missed. I will see you again one day. Love you always.
