Mrs. Adams, Bob & Pat

I'm so very sorry to hear about Doc passing away. I can still hear his laugh and see his easy smile that instantly warmed your heart.

He was, by far, one of the most wonderful and influential people I have ever had in my life. There are so many wonderful memories with Doc and all you guys. He was so easy to talk to, give guidance or advice in his gentle voice, often times putting a smile on your face.

Doc had so many wonderful gifts that he shared with love to his family and friends. I was truly blessed for having Doc and you guys in my life, he has always been a part of my life and will always continue to be.

You are all in my thoughts and prayers.

With no offense to any of our biological fathers and families, Doc was quite literally the person many wished our father was, at times. Doc could listen without immediate judgement, laugh, shed a tear, offer advice and always food and drink. The hospitality of the entire Adams family lives on through their sons and many of us would have never enjoyed the salt air and summer sun on an August day were it not for the gracious hosting of Rose and Doc Adams

Family and friends were central to their being and that may be the best gift that they lived out and displayed for me over the years.

Missed for sure, but pain free and living on through all those he touched. The man was and continues to a be a Blessing.

I have many tremendous memories of my special friend Bob. Doc's kindness and compassion are beyond description. His zest for life was unwavering and he always filled my heart with joy and optimism. Doc always treated as part of his immediate family. He will be missed tremendously, until God decides we meet again.
