Bill was a mentor and friend I have so many memories from his time at Derr Flooring. He taught me a lot and I know he will be missed.

Bill hired me at Derr over 27 years ago and he left a lasting affect on me. Myself and 3 others who are all still with the company today were deemed
"Willie's Kids" He would always answer the phone and would often say Bill
Rodgers with a D. Many good memories and one of the classiest people I have ever met. A perfect gentleman. My sympathy and best to the family.

I would like to thank Fluehr Funeral Home for their attentiveness and personal care during a very difficult time. Joe Fluehr was phenomenal assisting our family with Dad's arrangements from initial contact throughout the entire service. Without his guidance we would never have made it through this experience.
Thank you,
Bill Rodgers, Jr.

Pop Pop, I will never forget the first time I had supper at your home. I called you "Sir" and you very emphatically told me "No.I'm not'Sir' I am Pop Pop". From that moment forward I knew that you accepted me into your family. Billy and Ian loved that you called them "My Boys" and how no matter what type of day you were having, they always managed to get a smile from you. I will never understand the bond you and Ian shared, but I loved to watch the two of you share your smiles and laughs. You made a huge impression in our lives and hearts. You will be forever loved and missed by "Your Boys" and I. We love you Pop Pop.

Uncle Bill you were always a warm and happy person to be around. You and Aunt Marie always made me feel welcome and I always looked forward to spending time at your home. Even when I would act up when we cousins would run around in your basement on Bleigh Street even then you were always patient and loving. I also, was always glad that my Mom and Dad chose you to be my Godfather. I guess you can tell them for me when you see them.
Love, Joe(y) Rodgers
