Condolences for
Robert Grasso

Wednesday, November 27th | Comment by: Jeff Bates

To Bob’s family, my deepest sympathy and heartfelt condolences for your loss.
I worked with Bob at the Speed Shop for several years in the late 70’s and early 80’s and learned much from him about business, parts, engines, and most importantly people, an education that helped me find my way. For this I am indebted to him. Although Bob had a, some would say gruff persona and was quite a character, he was kind man and was always helping someone. Shared lots of good times with him and stayed in touch with him periodically thru the years. God Speed my friend.

Mark, Michelle and Matt,
We are truly saddened by the sudden death of you Dad. During this difficult period, remember all the good times you shared with him and all the love he gave you throughout the years. He has left this earth too soon but through loving memories he will live in your hearts forever. We are wishing you peace to bring comfort and courage to face the days ahead.
Love to all,
Aunt Bonnie and Uncle Ray

Still beyond beside myself. Bobby was like a second dad to me when I was a kid. He gave me my first job at the Bristol store when I was 8 and I worked there thru high school! I have some very fond memories of Bobby, never failed to answer even the stupidest of questions I asked, of course he's break my stones first, but then answer them! I remember leaving the shop early on Saturdays and going fishing with he and Marky.. Man some great memories! I wish I had the chance to thank you Bob, you were a huge influence on me and I could never thank you enough! Love and God Speed Bobby! My condolences go out to the entire family!

I am shocked and saddened to see Bobby's obit in the paper. I was a steady customer of the shop back in the mid 70's and he helped me keep my 440 Challenger running strong. He was a nice guy and an I always considered him a friend. I lost touch over the years but I am still playing with cars and have thought of Bobby many times over the years.

My deepest sympathies to his family. RIP Bobby G.

Bob is a blessed angel, who will be held dearly in my heart. His acts of kindness are the best of memories for myself and my family. We know you like family as would be expected from any of the Grasso's. Bob you did an excellent job raising your wonderful children. Thank you so much for all the great times you showed my angel Chandra. Please carry all of our love, and some soup, to heaven for Chandra and give her that swift kick in the butt she deserves. Matt, Michelle, Mark and family...my deepest sympathies to you and your family. I am always here for you all. Love Joan Gorski, Jim, Raymond and Tommy Hoover
Peace be with you.
