Joey, I'm glad Judy and I were with you at Jefferson the day before you decided enough was enough, and your fight was over.
We will forever miss you in our lives, as I know you were concerned for all of us especially Nancy.
Their aren't to many like you, but you will now be able to crack your "funny sayings" whenever you want too.
I'll always remember my last words to you when you were not responsive during our time with you that day, and thank you for squeezing
my hand letting me know you knew I was there beside you.
Love Judy and Wayne

I would like to share a poem with you, that I had written many years ago & shared it with many of my friends & family. In Loving Memory of Joe
Dear Family, Friends & Loved Ones,
I know these last few months have been very trying,
But that was God's way to prepare you for my dying;
But please be happy for me,
Because I'm in Heaven, with God you see;
What happened was part of God's plan,
And He reached down & grabbed my hand;
I reached up and held Him tight,
For my miraculous flight;
So now in Heaven I will wait,
Until you come through the Golden Gate;
So please don't cry for me,
Because this was the end of my journey;
I'm no longer out there on the roam,
I'm finally, "Safely Home"!
Love,
Joe
