Dear Christopher and Gaynelle, what a wonderful tribute you have paid Lucretia. The family photos are an exceptional gift to all who visit this site. Thank you for that. Your mother was a truly beautiful woman and from the photos, her love and joy of family shine through. The loss of a parent, especially a mother, takes one into a new kind of adulthood. You are the man she helped create and you will be carrying forward all the best of her. You are now her legacy as are each of her children. Keep her close and may prayers and love embrace all of you through this loss. And Gaynelle, you once told me how much Lucretia reminded you of my own mother, and through the photos I can see exactly what you meant. I think these two women would have been great buddies! I can almost hear their laughter as they clink glasses and toast surviving challenges with their sense of humor intact.
