Condolences for
Albert J. Gibboni, CLTP

Dear Bernadette and family,
I knew Albert as Vice Principal at Bishop Egan when I first arrived in 1968 as a teacher. He was thoroughly professional and friendly, and most helpful to me as a first year teacher. He was respected by Fr. Dennis Sullivan, TOR, whose Vice Principal he was, and by us as faculty members. May you be strengthened and supported by the happy memories that you can reflect on. May he rest in peace.

Jerry and I will miss Al beyond measure. His unwavering optimism in the face of endless physical and emotional challenges left us in awe. You were there for both of us at many difficult times in our lives, and we will never forget you. Rest In Peace Al.

Al my friend ,I will miss seeing you every Wednesday and hearing the many jokes you’ve told me over the years that I could never remember to re tell. But at last you told me a joke 2 Wednesday’s ago that I haven’t forgotten. Thank you my friend for being the incredible man that you were and showing us all how to be a better person. I hope you're running that marathon in heaven. God Bless

You will be missed my friend. I had the opportunity to have Al as a headmaster at Pen Ryn and as a friend, co-worker and mentor at Old Republic.
Al's office was next to mine in the office and at least once a week he would stop at my door and tell one of his jokes, both good and bad.
My earliest memory of him was when I was in 5th grade sitting in his office with him across the desk and just above his head was a copy of the unfinished portrait of Geo. Washington looking down on me along with Al.... and yes I was in the office many times...
