What can I say about a man who made me feel like a PRINCESS every time I saw him (for 62 years) I climbed a mountain with him once to count hawks, which started a life-long obsession with birds. He had no trouble telling me I looked beautiful, but could also ask, did I do that to my hair on purpose?! He gave me the honor of walking me down the aisle on one of the best days of my life, telling me at the top of the stairway that my dad was watching, so he better not screw this up! He tried, unsuccessfully, to teach me how to let a man LEAD when dancing (not gonna happen!) He was there most weekends as I grew up, with the "brown bag" and the two boys who became my best friends for life. It's baseball season, that means he, Elmer and Frank are all on the back porch, drinking Schlitz beer and listening to the Phillies! Thank you for ALL the wonderful memories I keep, I will miss you always.
