Condolences for
Rosemary H. Smith (Harvey)

I am a former classmate at both Holy Cross and MSJ who enjoyed Roey’s Bright mind and rollicking wit through those 12 years with the SSJ. Roey also was my bunk mate at Girl Scout camp where we had some hair raising escapades. She also attended many of our high school reunions and always fascinated me with her observations about the contemporary scene. I did not know of her health struggles as she was stoic and never wished to burden others. I will miss her presence on those occasions of reunion. May she have everlasting peace in the arms of the angels. Until we meet again old pal I will remember you with great joy.

I went to Holy Cross and Mt. St. Joseph Academy with Roey and recently had the pleasure of lunch with her after her very difficult hospitalizations last year. I was amazed by how great she looked considering how much she'd been through. her spirits were high and she spoke lovingly of her grandchildren. I am a nurse and worked for 2 years in dialysis and saw, first hand, how difficult those sessions were. She is at peace now. My heart goes out to you, her family and friends, and hope that you also will be able to find peace knowing that she is no longer suffering.
