Condolences for
John M. Devlin, Jr.

The Groff family would like to extend our sincere condolences to all of the Devlins upon John's passing. It's been 50 years or more since I last saw him, but the memories our families shared from the 50's are indelible. John's energy and humor are still with us.

Our condolences to our dear friend Dorothy and her family on the loss of her brother. May he rest in peace.

John and I were fraternity brothers at Georgetown. About 4 years ago, we reconnected through social media and kept in touch by phone. John was full of life, enthusiastic, loved all people, was a devout Catholic and dedicated family man. He clearly loved his family. I am saddened at his passing, but know that he is in the comfort of Heaven, in the arms of Christ Jesus, surrounded by the saints.

John's smile, his laugh, his joy of life, his love for family and love of our Lord, were examples of a blessed man. May his family find peace knowing that he is now with Jesus and rest in the arms of the Virgin Mary. It has been a blessing having John as a neighbor and friend.
