Dear Aunt Betty, Sandra, & Marc,
I am so deeply saddened by Uncle Sal’s passing. Next to my dear Dad, he was simply the dearest, most giving man I ever knew. How many of us did he teach to fish? How many of us received those special bear hugs? will never forget recognizing Uncle Sal at my bedside in ICU one day after so many others had come and gone. He held my face and wept and I felt his love and support to the depths of my soul. Unfortunately, I am battling health concerns right now and unable to travel. When I am able, I would like to come down for a visit. I know that Sal is now in Heaven with my parents. I’m also certain that my Dad greeted Sal with a can of tomato soup in his hand, offering him lunch! Please know that I am sending my whole family love and support at this difficult time, but especially to Aunt Betty, Sandra, and Marc. The departed live forever in our hearts and memory. Never let go of the beautiful memories. They sustain us. I love you.
