I had the absolute pleasure of meeting Dr. Vera three or four years ago as a Temple Oral Maxillofacial Surgery resident. He treated all of our residents with the utmost of respect. He also had a special and caring way to manage our patients......which sometimes is never an easy task. I will truly miss him. The Vera family will be in my family prayers.

Dr. Vera was a great friend and a wonderful person. My last meeting with him at Hopewell campus few days ago has left a permanent impression of his kind smile. Always sympathetic and ready to advise. We shall miss you. May God Bless your soul, Ignacio.

Dr. Vera was not only a great friend but a fantastic anesthesiologist and a true professional who cared for all his patients sincerely and respectfully. I miss his presence in the operating room and will hold onto the great memories of our friendship. It was a pure pleasure working with him. He will be missed very much by his colleagues, friends and patients.
