Your family is in our prayers. As the mother of a young boy scout from Troop 147 I want to thank you for your words of wisdom about the battle against addiction. No family is out of its reach. We will honor your son by talking to our kids tonight and often about addiction and about how to deal with it in their own lives and in the lives of their friends. Devon did a lot of good work in scouts that contributed to a wonderful community that my son now belongs too. I am thankful for Devon's impact there. His life was precious and he will be missed but not forgotten.

Dear Bob:

Words cannot express just how sad I am about Devon's passing. I will always remember him as a kind, fun and good friend to his fellow scouts and school mates. Please know that you and your extended family are in our thoughts and prayers. If there is anything you need or we can do for you, please don't hesitate to ask.
