Condolences for
Joseph F. Finnerty Jr.

My acquaintance with Joe was a fellow railroader on the Reading Railroad. A mans man, he worked as a freight conductor, union Local Chairman and later as a Trainmaster in charge of the crew dispatchers office. Because I and others had low seniority, Joe would always try to find a spot to keep us working. I was his neighbor in Richboro. The men used to joke about me cutting his grass (Not true). A gentleman R.I.P.
