We are sincerely saddened to learn of Jim's passing. I spoke with him recently and as always he was in wonderful spirits and we had a delightful phone conversation. We've known and worked with Jim for over 30 years and will miss his wonderful personality and passion for life. He was a wonderful friend and associate. Sincerest condolences from the Howe Family to Ann and children.

Jim Grisan stood for what is good and honorable about youth sports. As one of the founding fathers of Warrington Soccer he always had the best interest of the player in mind and expected the highest standard for all involved. Jim and I developed a friendship over the years working for the soccer club. He was a true mentor for me and a strong advocate of women coaches, encouraging me to become involved as a travel coach. Now after 23 years of coaching at the club, middle school and high school level, I have Jim to thank for helping me find my true passion. Jim's kindness and quick witted sense of humor will be missed. My heartfelt sympathy go out to Ann, Kim and family. With Deepest Sympathy, Betsy Bullock and family

Mr Grisan was one of my first soccer coaches, years and years (and years) ago. A kind, gentle man, who always reinforced in me respect, sportsmanship, and self-confidence. I coach youth soccer now, and I hope I can do a fraction of the good that Mr Grisan did in his time. Peace to the Grisan family.

A Genuinely Great Man, Forever in Our hearts… Jim Grisan
Jim came into my life at a perfect time about 18 years ago when I became involved with Warrington Soccer. He was my elder, my mentor and a calming source of guidance which offset my over-zealous endeavors to provide service to Warrington Soccer. He taught me to have patience and understand “due process”, I know I gave him a few good laughs as he watched me learn that. We became great friends over those years, every project started with a joke and a good laugh. I will always be grateful for his patience and the many things he taught me. To Ann and Kim, who I am also fortunate to call my friends, please know that my thoughts and prayers are with you and the rest of your family.

Our family did not know Jim personally, but we will always be grateful to him for providing our children a place in Warrington Soccer to learn sportsmanship, the importance of staying physically fit and a sense of community.
Rest in peace
