Dear Maggie,
It's always a struggle to know what to say at a time like this. Probably because there are no words to take away the pain of losing someone you love so much. Having just lost my father last month, I realize that the only thing that can help is time, in the long run. For today, let your friends and family embrace you, talk about Rich and all the things he loved. Let those who love you take care of you. Give yourself time to grieve. Remember his smile and his laughter and he will live on in your heart.
