For anyone who happens here in honor of my Mom,
I can clearly remember the day that I committed myself to my parents as a very young child. I vowed to honor them and take their advice without question or conflict. Of all Gods commandments, the 5th one came easiest to me.
Parenting did not come without failure; nor, is life filled only by stories of success. It is how my parents handled adversity that opens my soul and torches up a fire inside of me. In the words of Vince Lombardi, “the true test of a man’s character is how well he reacts to being knocked down”…..I am here to attest that may parents always “stood back up” and did what was required to provide a warm home and stout example of resilience.
Early in the grieving process, I long for one more day, hour, minute…..but …. I have to envision that this is exactly what she would not want. Live your life and have a nice day……in better words…..”have a nice life, it’s better than a day”.
I am so grateful to have experienced the purest form of love…….
I love you Mom……until we meet again.

I've known Bunny since Kensington High, lost contact & then ran into her working at Acme in the meat dept. & found out we lived w/i 3 miles of each other & 3 other schoolmates lived close-by. Although Bunny didn't graduate, we convinced her to crash our 50th Reunion since she had so many memories of the school's events & activities which we didn't remember. In fact, I wondered if I went to the same school! We also found 2 other school chums: one lived in DE & the other in FL (Jacqueline Schulgen Kweeder dec'd 2013) & we all met at Johnny Apples Restaurant to reminisce. You will be sorely missed not only by me but: Janet Greenberg Kott, Valerie Witoshkin Fario, Lucy Rossi Geller & Jacqueline Batot Niehorster.
Bunny was very witty & funny. I still can recall how we laughed over her "miniature" crab cakes at Outback & she quipped whether they were putting her on a diet, & the horrible meal & svc. at the Chow Restaurant was another humorous occurrence.
She enjoyed volunteering at St. Mary's Thrift Shop & said how good Heidi was to her. She liked being w/people.
She took great pride in ALL her family but loved being by the lake at Barb's in MA. Babysitting her grandchildren was a delight. She worried about David & recently commented on Shane's remarks & some of the other quips that came out of the mouths of babes. She was a big kid herself.
I was stunned to learn of Bunny's death on 4/21. Last time I saw her was 3/20 when she drove me to the eye dr. & afterwards we ate at the Buck Hotel. We called one another often to see if we were still kicking! The last time I spoke w/her was the week before Easter & asked if her "peach" Iris' were in bloom yet. Bunny, now you're in GOD'S GARDEN. HE put HIS arms around you & lifted you to rest. HE always takes the best!
Goodbye my friend. Thanks for the memories. Love, Joan Karpeak (Feasterville)

To Wenger Family
I remember hooking up with Bunny, Dolly and Barb for brunches at The Beechwood. Fun times with great ladies.
Mom will always be with you, whatever you do and where ever you go. God bless her.
With Deepest Sympathy
