Jeff,
I would like to thank you for the time and effort you took to turn me into a top-notch carpenter, for this I am ever grateful. I only wish I got the chance to tell you in person. You saw something in me that I didn't see and gave me the ability to earn a comfortable, honest, living. Although we outgrew each other I never forgot what you did for me and let it be known you were a role model for me. You were not just my boss, you were someone who helped me when I was down and always took the time to make sure I was okay even though you never said it, I knew. You are a good man Jeff and one helluva carpenter who got us into some crazy situations, it was an adventure working for you and I miss it and you.

How do you sum up a lifetime of memories in simple black and white? How can I, possibly, explain what Jeff meant to me and what a void I have in my own life now? We met in 1964 when we went to Central High and quickly became close friends. Simply put, we grew up together and shared both the joys and heartaches of life. We were best men at each others marriages and celebrated the births of our children. As is the case with so many people in life we grew apart not because of any conflict but because of the trials of life that we both experienced. I regret this and am saddened that we lost that time but please understand, Jeff was always my friend and remained so until his passing. I will miss him so much.
