Condolences for
Joseph W. Zimmerman

Friday, October 28th | Comment by: Ed Jr. and Family Zimmerman

Uncle Joe always stopped in at my Mom and Dad's house when we visited them in Buckingham PA. He never got excited, always quiet spoken, always up beat and had a typical sense of humor like all the Zimmermans. I remember a story in which he was operating a crane of some sort and somehow the cable touched high tension wires and blew out all its tires. He was very calm, gave a smile and a chuckle. I remember when we lived at 10th and Olney and I was just learning the accordion, I played "When Joey comes Marching Home": as Aunt Carol requested. I remember being in uniform. I remember him telling me about his M1 Carbine he used in the Army. Uncle Joe always calm and cool, and yet a very energetic and dynamic. He was always around to help. Our prayers, thoughts, and memories will always be with you and your family. The Zimmermans of Las Vegas.
