We had some great times...

Sunday, September 25th | Comment by: Fred Haemer

When I spent time with Dad I realized that he was forever young. We spoke of many things we loved, the science, Mother, fireworks, cooking, marksmanship, and our memories of juvenile delinquency. It was clear that Dad held the perspective of that sixteen year old boy who graduated from Richmond High School. Saint Paul wrote to the Corinthians - When I was a child, I used to talk as a child, think as a child, reason as a child; when I became a man, I put aside childish things. The few times I was vexed by my father, it was clear he had not put aside childish things.
Dad, May God bless and keep you always, May your wishes all come true, May you always do for others And let others do for you. May you build a ladder to the stars and climb on every rung, May you stay forever young.
