Jim has been our insurance agent for years. Twice during the month in April 2014 he offered me space in his office to use during the period of time I really did not have a very good space to work. I did not take him up on this but it was a good and kind offer.

I am so sorry to hear about your loss. Although I never met Jim, he was my insurance agent for many years. He actually helped me after a very difficult time in my life by lending support and reinforcing that I was doing the right thing. He always went above and beyond in order to lend assistance.

Dear Diana and Family,
We were deeply saddened as so many are for your loss. I see all my words have been written by everyone here. I am thinking of all the wonderful folks who have these thoughts and haven't written them here yet. Jim was our agent for 30 years and a dear friend as it appears he made everyone feel like a dear friend knowing their names and so sincere and jolly. He always made me laugh. We have had a major house fire and the tragedy was lessened because he said he would take care of us and he did.He helped us through the storm when trees fell on the building and oil tank and power was out he got right back to us on my cell and kept calling till he reached me as i sat in freezing weather charging my phone in my car.He offered to bring us food or water as we also lived in Haycock not far from you.. He was sort of a Hero really because he saved so many from the depth of fear, of loosing everything you own and watch it burn up. Yet he was there to say, Its Ok, they are just things you can replace, you walked away with your Life and family. Breath in Breath out and we'l take care of the rest. He always did. He is sadly missed, Your family is in our thoughts and prayers. God Bless you. The Gartner Family

Curran Family we are so very sad to hear of Jim's passing. While we only came to know him when we moved to PA 22 years ago he and needed an insurance agent, he was so much more than that. He gave sound advice, helped in every situation that we found ourselves in (3 boys driving) and was someone we could count on at anytime! He is very sadly missed but fondly remembered. We are so very sorry for your loss. Our community has lost a great and caring man.

Jim has been my Insurance Agent since the days of Ernie Dilks! I did not have a lot of contact with Jim, but feel a loss, and realize he was one of the good guys! Always informative and concerned. God Bless you Jim!
