Amy, Laura, Dominic and Sheila, please accept our sincerest sympathy and condolences for your loss. Karol was one of the " good" guys. He was always kind and caring and he will be missed. We taught together at Lincoln High School in Jersey City, NJ and so we belonged to the Lincoln family. I have such fond memories of Karol and one of them is of a time we were in Atlantic City over teacher convention. Karol was playing craps with Al Kubacz and my husband Bill was advising him on what he should bet. Well, Karol wound up winning quite a bit of money that night, He told us not to leave because he was treating us all to dinner. This was prior to the days when people would get " comped". I will always remember that night and how generous he was and respected him for such a generous gesture. But that was just one instance of his kindness. I am sure you will hear of other stories about how caring he was. May he Rest In Peace in the loving arms of Our Lord. Anita and Bill DeRosa
